With no understatement, Ester and Bill's wedding was a seamless spectacle to behold. With some hard work behind the scenes preparation from Ester their dream wedding was realised. Ester kept it together and laughed her way through the day and Bill left us all a bit teary and emotional with some great words from his speech. With countless other highlight events throughout the day, one can only experience them all by watching this video. Congrats Ester and Bill!
Jen and James took us on a journey of unique hand plucked locations and climactic happy hardcore DJ sets. You know... The usual wedding stuff. But it's rare to see such a bold plan of action for a wedding come together perfectly. Aided by their superb coordinator Alice, Jen and James' wedding was top tier and uniquely them.
Before there was tinder and online dating apps there was Halo. As teenagers, this is how Rachael and Stewart met. Their journey from there has evolved from a cross country relationship, which involved multiple Nullabor trips, to now spending the rest of their lives together. It's all part of their journey and their guests were so very happy that their journey led them to this day, their wedding day...
A stylish backyard wedding on a perfect sunny day. Meg and Nick couldn't have asked for better. They got into the groove of their wedding day straight away. They were obviously ready to be wed, but also ready to have fun! Even with all that was going on, the couple never vered from that fun and it was a pleasure to watch them swimming in the joy of their wedding day.
"This is the best wedding video ever!" says Isla, our daughter. With some bias.. In this story Mish and myself (Mitch) have now entered wedding inception; me being a wedding videographer for 12 years, we now enter our own wedding video. We did away with many wedding conventions and for the better. We just wanted our loved ones around us all day and for them to have a tonne of fun. We also had a tonne of fun even with our bar set so high from attending so many other weddings in the past. It truly was up there with the best days of our lives. But it just goes to show that every bride and groom on their wedding day probably feel the exact same way, it was just nice to be this couple for a change :)
A Greek wedding is always memorable. But for any guest of Kianee and Kosta's wedding they will be overflowing with so many memories of moments of joy and heartfelt emotion. The energy did not stop from start to finish and it would be no surprise if everyone had to sleep for an entire day to get over this one! Congrats Kianee and Kosta!
Kate & Mitch dove head first into their wedding with the main goal of just having fun. Mission accomplished. From point A to Z they were just swept away by the enjoyment of it all with tears and laughs. Along with a great band of bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, friends and their pet Rottweiler it was an epic day from all perspectives...
From multiple lockdowns, to cross country wedding planning, Viv and Phil had trudged through it all to finally get to their big day. And once they settled into their groove they had a blast! They had a sneaky first look before the ceremony that eased their nerves before they headed onto the Guild Hall in Fremantle for the ceremony followed by reception with their close friends and family.
Unpacking the story of Shannon & Lachlan was such a pleasure. Hearing the evolution of their love and lead up to their wedding had rendered a bar set high for the big day. But they hit it out of the park with their beautiful Brookleigh wedding and were gifted the best of the best of everything for the day...
Amy and Mike brought us to the beautiful grounds of the Meelup Homestead for their wedding. They made everything look so effortless throughout the day; just keenly sinking into the fun of it all. They also had some of the most thoughtful and moving vows you will be likely to hear. Congrats guys!
There were plenty of great surprises that both Shannen and Ben had for all that were there to celebrate their wedding. From Ben and his surprise acoustic love song to Shannen to the 'table dash' photoshoot, there was so much fun to be had. But at the heart of this wedding was the obvious connection these two had which at times gave us all the proverbial lump in the throat.
Nic & Noelle's lego themed wedding day was a special personal take on the lives they have had together. The very minor details had so much thought put into it and the friends and family that were there to witness even had their own personal lego-selves to take home with them! With so many pieces coming together for this day, it ended up being a dream come true for this couple and a story best told with all the pieces put together right here...
Wet eyeballs all round! Zara & Kane inspired so many magical moments for not just this, their wedding day, but also in the lives of all the people who've had their hearts touched by this amazing couple. There is no use trying to justify how great this day was with words, have a look and see for yourself...
Courtney and Michal's personal touch on every little detail made this wedding such a memorable one. Yes, it rained, but this made it even more special. With the water droplets falling through the air bursting with that afternoon glow, it felt a bit dreamy. Courtney and Michal were so joyful and playful throughout the entire day, and that's the best way to be on your wedding day. Congrats guys and all the best in your life together!
The highlights started straight away on Billie & John's day. From big family dances in true Serbian fashion, then onto the amazing and moving church ceremony. It was breathtaking at times. But as hoped, the fun lasted all day and then was perfectly encapsulated into the beautiful reception at Sandalford's Estate Room. Congrats Billie & John!
Held at the family farm nestled in Oakford, David & Rachael spent the day surrounded by loved ones amongst the spectacular tee-pee setup. There's something about a farm wedding that has such a charm to it. This couple relayed their vows to each other with both having similar thoughts and memories of each other. Bringing their son Heath along for the party, this will be another day to remember!
Trying to tell the story of Noelle & Simon would be impossible in just a short number of words. Noelle & Simon were kind enough to share their story in this video. From what lead them to each other and what came after, this is a glimpse into a perfect love story & the epic wedding of Noelle & Simon.
Laura and Jason were described in a speech as the perfect example of the modern family. Gone are the days of the conventional steps towards marriage. While once it was living with mum and dad until we get married, then move into our new home and have kids. These days you do it in your own order.
View moreNew Year’s Eve weddings are always a spectacle. But Shannon and Sam made theirs so meaningful by hosting it at their home in Shenton Park. They had been prepping the backyard for the 6 months prior to the wedding and never thought they could have it ready in time. Well, taking one look at the video and photos, they made it! With a small but select group of about 60 family and friends, they all packed into the backyard for a quaint and thoughtful ceremony.
View moreThis was definitely a highlight wedding of 2019 for me. Having met Chris and Lisa about a year prior, I had a good idea of what I was going to expect. But as it goes, expect the unexpected! It turned out to be the first 40 degree day of summer. But by the time the ceremony came around, we’d all forgotten about the heat and settled into the shade of council house.
View moreIt was quite a moment when Amy and Sam first saw each other at the ceremony on this day. With that long walk down the path at the top of the limestone stairs at Caversham House, it was quite a big buildup. Amy’s dad may have tried to steal the show a few times this day, and one of those times was when handing over Amy to Sam. He had a nice intimate chat with Sam before heading down to join the guests.
View moreThanks to Jackie and Andrea we were invited along to both film and photograph their wedding with a “Fusion Package”. Not only this, but it was the first time we’d be going to the Sandalford Estate room which turned out to be epic! Jackie and Andrea had great support from their families this day.
View moreAs former neighbors and now friends, it was a pleasure shooting Jenni and Rory’s wedding day. It was great popping along to the ceremony rehearsal a couple of days prior to see what was what. Tucked in the Scented Gardens in South Perth I could tell the fun that was going to be had. They were just super laid back and letting it flow; the best way to be!
View moreA Persian wedding is a spectacle. Their traditions, especially the dancing, were what lit this one up. Armin and Farrah started the day in adjacent rooms at Crown Towers. Armin had a close up shave while Farrah was getting hair and makeup. We had their first look in the Crown Towers lobby and Armin broke down. It was pretty special.
View moreLarissa is a high school friend of mine and we’ve known each other for what feels like decades! This is why I was so pumped to not only be witness to her getting married but have the opportunity to film it for her and Joel. Larissa to say the least, is an emotional person. This is such a good thing, especially on a wedding day.
View moreAmy and Adam were hosts to us all out at Darlington Estate. It was the first hot day of the season which meant of course, the bugs had spawned! But we shook those off and adventured the day through with Amy and Adam. Starting out at a North Perth pool hall with Adam and the boys, it was a very welcome and relaxed change to the norm.
