This was definitely a highlight wedding of 2019 for me. Having met Chris and Lisa about a year prior, I had a good idea of what I was going to expect. But as it goes, expect the unexpected! It turned out to be the first 40 degree day of summer. But by the time the ceremony came around, we’d all forgotten about the heat and settled into the shade of council house. It was our first appearance at the Council House Gardens for a ceremony and I’d highly recommend it. Chris and Lisa’s vows were some of the most thoughtful and touching I’d ever heard. Just jaw droppingly good! Tie this in with the running theme of “Wonderwall” by Oasis, and it was an experience, to say the least.
As the day progressed there was no slowing down for Chris and Lisa. They were pumped and showing no signs of wearing themselves out. We were literally running through the streets of Perth, across St Georges Terrace and all the way back to the Flour Factory for reception. Here was the intimate styling that this place caters for; dim lights among the rows of tables and high ceilings with old timber floor all decked out with some truly epic floral arrangements. What more can be said that can’t be seen in the video! Have a look at Chris and Lisa’s adventure in their Feature Film.
